Head Start
The Head Start program, established in 1965, is a comprehensive child development and early education program for low-income children, from ages of birth to five years old, and their families. The $12 billion Head Start program is the federal government's signature investment in early childhood. Serving over 900,000 children and families annually, it remains a top priority of many members of Congress and a key federal investment in education.
Washington Partners, LLC has worked with clients on several provisions of the Head Start Act - including teacher education and programs serving migrant and seasonal farm workers and their families as well as American Indians.
